Darma Henwa Received a Mining Road Access Construction Work Contract from PT Dairi Prima Mineral
Jakarta, April 2, 2019 - PT Darma Henwa Tbk ("DEWA"), a company engaged in mining contractor services, general mining services, equipment maintenance and maintenance, officially obtained a contract for construction of mine road access on the Dairi Lead - Zinc Project, North Sumatra, from PT Dairi Prima Mineral. The scope of work includes the construction of the Dairi mine access road from the camp to the underground mine portal site and the construction of the Dairi mine access road from Parongil to the camp. The company will carry out this work for 4 (four) months from March 30, 2019 to July 28, 2019, with a contract value of Rp. 29.995 billion (twenty-nine billion nine hundred and ninety-five million Rupiah).
According to Mukson Arif Rosyidi, Corporate Secretary & Chief Corporate Services Officer of PT Darma Henwa Tbk, the contract acquisition is in line with DEWA's strategy to strengthen its business structure as an integrated mining services company. "The contract award is in accordance with DEWA's strategy to develop a business related to integrated mining services, namely the provision of mining infrastructure. This work is expected to be the entry point for the next stage of work needed by PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM), both for construction work and for mineral mining work at DPM, "said Mukson.
The Dairi Lead - Zinc project is a project owned by PT Dairi Prima Mineral (DPM), which is located in North Sumatra, with total reserves of 11.05 million tonnes (ore), which is a high grade zinc mineral reserve. The project is planned to be developed as an underground mining project.
